![]() There is always a sense of intrigue to play something new on a new platform so I had to jump in and see what this one had up its sleeve. Gylt is developed by Tequila Works and we believe a timed exclusive to the brand new Google Stadia platform. At the time of writing though however, there is an exclusive that can be claimed as part of a Stadia Pro subscription and that game is titled Gylt. ![]() It’s clear this studio was ahead of the curve in having a backup plan in the event Stadia would no longer be supported.I have been using the Google Stadia for a little over three weeks now and whilst I am impressed with the way the service runs and performs, there is a distinct lack of games especially exclusive titles. Going by its statement, Tequila Works was working on porting Gylt to other platforms prior to Stadia’s closure announcement. Hello Enginner developer tinyBuild Games and Pac-Man Mega Tunnel Battle publisher Bandai Namco Entertainment have not commented on the situation, but Digital Trends did reach out to both for comment. Tequlia Works, Outcasters developer Splash Damage, and PixelJunk Raiders studio Q-Games have all now said they’re evaluating options for where their games will go. After Google announced the impending closure of Google Stadia, the fate of five Stadia exclusive games came into question. However, as the game was never super cloud-intensive, it seems likely to launch across both current and last-gen systems in addition to PC. It’s unknown which platforms Gylt will be ported to next year. ![]()
